| What's your opinion on Stagg, just curious. I own one as my beginner bass. I think it's alright but maybe someone knows of or owns a better model? |

it's a low end brand hit or miss on quality, when you start looking to upgrade take a look at the Squires, particularly the Vintage modified series
or the Epiphones, there are a lot of excellent inexpensive basses out there
so do some research and be sure to read the reviews. _________________ "I'm not a man who likes to swear, but I never cared for the sound of being alone." |

| Staggs are not good instruments. I guess it' s okay when you' re just learning. It' s still better to get a good bass so you can enjoy playing. |

When it comes to buying a new bass, play em all and chooses the most expensive one you can afford, the quality will always come through IMO. _________________ Visit http://www.planetrock.co.uk/default.asp You KNOW you want to! |

Hey there!
My first bass was Stagg BC300-BK, 4-string, passive. It's great for beginners. |

in musicval instruments you pay for what you get. Not trying to be sarcastic but the majority of the time you pay for quality and durability.
I also second the motion to get the most expensive on eyou can afford do not settle for the minimum because many times the cheaper version will not last or sound like the original design. _________________ Rocking for The Rock!! |
