Sup Guy's Im a lefty guitar player that has always played some bass and recently took a position with a Southern Rock Band playin bass. Lookin to gain some knowledge about the Bass. My current set up is a G&L Jazz bass. My amp setup consist of a BBE BMax preamp, a Mackie fr1400 power amp I got it all racked in a SKB roller case with a DTR2000 Korg tuner and my speaker cabinet is a custom built 2x12 with USA Eminence LF drivers the cabinet is completely internally sealed and dampened and the exterior is sprayed with the Rhinohyde material . It has a good tight focused sound. The guys in the band say that's what a bass is supposed to sound like.
