Hello,
I am selling my 1997 trans red EB Stingray. Purchased from Mass Street Music (Lawrence KS) in 1998. This is a beautiful bass and has been very well taken care of. I have always wiped her down after each time playing. As well as oiling the fret board and neck once or twice a year. This bass plays and sounds great. I hate to sell her, but I have two of these basses and I am selling this one to fund the purchase of a Rickenbacker 4003. There are a few minor nicks and scratches as would be expected on a bass that is over 10yrs old.

Also on this bass I have installed a hipshot drop D tuner. With a flip of a switch you can play in drop D without having to down tune. Comes with the factory EB hardshell case as well. Please feel free to ask any questions. I'll be sad to see her go as she has served me well over the years. So please give her a good home. I am asking $950.00 or trade for a Rickenbacker 4003. If interested shoot me your best offer.
Thanks

Pics and sound clips available upon request.. Since I am new here I can't post any right now.. Need to make 10 posts or wait 7 days..
Thanks..

Yeah funny thing is I traded my old 4003 for this bass about 10 years ago.. At the time it seemed like a good thing to do. I kick myself everytime I think about it or see old pictures of me playing it..

I used to own a Hondo II Ric copy in Fireglo back in the early eighties until it was stolen, I loved that bass I would be happy to find one of those now.

There is a company over here called Indie that do a fireglo Ric copy for about 500 quid, I was at a demo event at a local music shop on Thursday. Was actually quite impressed with the way it played, Ofc it looked the part too, with just the Indie logo on the truss rod cover giving it away.
