"Tie Your Mother Down" - Queen

Interesting, quirky band. My girl's fave!

John Deacon is solid with a GREAT tone! Plays just the right notes, never overplays. Tasty!
Good supporting player. Penned some of their best tunes!

"Sunset Grill" by Don Henley, I'm learning the fretless bass riffs in that song on my fretless. Smile Rolling Eyes

I just left Stanley Clarke's forum and decided to put on "Rite Of Strings" Stanley Clarke, Al Di Meola & Jean Luc Ponty. Check out song to John, amazing arpeggio's in the upper positions on a Double Bass! Stanley Kills!

Karmina "The Kiss." They are soft pop rock if you're into pop. I guess not since it's mainly about rock here lol.

Tina Turner - Nutbush City Limits ('90 remix)

This song = meh, but iTunes is on shuffle (as always - keeps life interesting)

OK - Ike and Tina Turner Review was the very first concert I ever saw. My parents took me in '68. Was GREAT! From the minute the curtain went up 'til it went down Tina and the Ikettes NEVER stopped moving! Oh! and those mini-skirts! Pretty heady stuff for a jr high kid!
And Ike in the back looking so sharp and cool (this was before word was out!). And the band was so tight!!

My folks were pretty hip to take us kids to something like this!! Haha - good memories!!
Don't remember who opened!
