| just wondering if its a good idea or not, im playing a 5 string olp. but i dont use the g much nor do i really like playing a 5 but i have a stingray 4 and i was thinking bout setting it up b-e-a-d. any opinions?[/list] |

| I think it will work, the tension in B strings isn't much higher than in E, so the neck will hold, I don't see any other problems, just try... |

| will work fine. check intonation and set up of the neck if any issues. should be fine. i have done this on high end basses and cheap Squiers and they all do well. there is a little increase of tension but nothing too much to be alarmed about. |
