Just got a Peavey Foundation bass and wonder what kind of pickups are "Peavey Super Ferrite"? Are they single coils? They are wider than my guitar humbuckers.

They are single coils. Great sounding pickups, IMHO. They remind me of a mix between Jazz bass pups and the current issue T-bird pups, punchy 'n growly just the way I like 'em!
