Heya! After watching the video of Primus' John the Fisherman, I wanted to learn the technique the guy was playing in the opening (after the part with the tremolo). I tried this and this, but never got a decent sound. Any tips on how should I do it? Thanks!

It's a really simple line. It is just the effect that he is using that gives it a unique sound. Google "Les Claypool effects" and you'll learn about the different effects he has used over the years then you probably want to know. LOL
