|
|
Hello there,
I've got an old Gibson EB2 bass. It's in great condition but I can't seem to get the intonation perfect on all the strings at the same time, even using the little hex screws.
At the moment I've got the bridge as far towards the neck as it will go. The E and G strings are in tune at the 13th fret but the A string is flat.....
Is there a trick to setting this?
Does the height of the strings/action effect this too?
Is there a way of modifying the bridge?
Any advice or opinions would be most welcome! |

| Without replacing the saddle assembly with individually adjustable saddles, all you can do is make it so that the strings are all as close as possible. You won't get all of them perfectly intoned. |
