For the first time last night I gigged my Fender BG29 with the newly purchased Tru Bass strings, the guys in the Big Band thought I'd switched to Double Bass!! |

| That good, huh? I messed around with nylons years ago but ended back with flats. Got me thinking about again. |

I haven't tried any other flat or nylon strings so I can only comment on these! But I can say I was well impressed, and in black they look good too |

hi
i put tru-bass 88s on my 5 string bass and they sound great. like the other guy said it has a real double bass sound and feels so good playing too.
i would recommend them if you have a fretless. |
