Hey Bassdogs,
I have a 1988 Fender Jass Bass and a 1988 Ampeg 100 amp combo amp.
I play my bass fullyy cranked and adjust the output from my amp.
Recently, something as been cliping out.
I have had the amp checked all OK.
Is it possible that the guitar pickups are clipping out?
The rig just stops, and after 30 seconds it works again.
What should be the proper setting?
I've got a gig this weekend and I need to know now.
I need HELP!

Not to be rude or anything, but you do know this is where you introduce yourself to the whole community, then in Jaco's cafe tell them about your worries? (not completely sure of whether I am right on the second part)

No advice bout the clipping, as mine never does.
