I'm using Fender nicklesteel medium gauge roundwound 6 string sets now, and I used to prefer GHS medium gauge pressurewounds on my 4 string basses, and I'd still be using pressurewounds on my 6 string if they made any 6 string sets, but they don't of course! |

There's limited selection for 6-strings! And 5's for that matter.... Can't get flatwounds in town .
I'll pop a string or two, but I can't get any decent speed slapping (It sounds good though, I know what you mean!). It's a shame, there's a Duran Duran song I want to play, guess I better learn to play fast. |

Currently I have D'addario. I have a set of Elixers waiting to be put on for when I record my next album.
For my guitar I use GHS Boomers Zakk Wylde Lows. |

I hear ya spiral, My BTB 405 is rocking D'Adario XL's... very nice!
I used to be into the Warwick Red label strings and some Smith Strings for my Warwick but all my Ibanez basses ever had were D'Adario _________________ "What you doing rollin' da' rock?"
