I just purchased a used SWR 350x and an Avatar B115 cab. Awesome sounding!
I love the boldness,clarity, and low noise this amp provides. It is more than enough power my my needs right now.

wow, very nice rigs ppl(I envy the megoliaths). I, on the other hand, am still stuck with my beginning amp. LA10, very nice for beginners, but I love it loud. Hopin to get somethin bigger soon. Peace.

750 watts
heaps of head room when your just using a working man 1/15' at 200 watts
produces some good stuff though, just wish i was a little bit lighter
the suckers 25 kilos
other than this i wish it had more effects knobs, litte aural enhancer or somthin, but at 700 bucks off , you cant ignore that

Y'all have some serious bass rigs! I'd better check in for the swr combos..
I'm using a workingman's 12 combo, and it's a real workhorse..
a spector import, washburn 5-string, and a peavey fretless all sound good, and I've used a peavey 15 inch cab or a soundtech active subwoofer to add extra low end when needed.

The cool thing about this amp is that it is a fairly flat monitor for a wide range of applications. I have used it for an acoustic guitar amp with a yamaha and a taylor, in live situations it seems to have more puch than a standard acoutic amp. when combined with a fender sfx sattelite, the sound was huge!

I've used the amp as monitor with a line 6 variax 500/xtlive combo in an orchestra pit gig, it had a full sound even at low volumes.

I recently updated the xtlive with the bass amp pack - I'm hoping this complements the already nice sound of the workingman - Hope this is helpful! Joe

I use an older Redhead combo with a Henry Jr.(4x8) for small to medium gigs and an Interstellar Overdrive Preamp/Carver power amp/Henry 8x8 for large venues. These are all pre-Fender built units and I wouldn't trade them for a new liver. The best rigs I've owned....and there were quite a few before I got ahold of these.

I just picked up the awesome 750x the other day for $500 used at Guitar Center. I run it through a Goliath III 4X10 and I also have an Interstellar Overdrive (original blue-face, #67, made February 1994) that I was runnning through a WorkingPro 700 until I found this 750x.

I love the overdrive on the 750x, so I use the Interstellar Overdrive for recording only, and I don't need my Analogman Mini Bi-Comp in my setup anymore because the limiter on the 750x does the Orange Squeezer squish just as well and without the waterfall hiss! It's really that good!

Man, the punch I get with my Warwicks through this SWR stuff is AWESOME!

Well, I no longer have the 750x. It was and still is a great amp, but something better came along a couple of weeks ago: I picked up a used Mo' Bass and Mo' Control pedalboard (the rare original with the rocker pedal)!

The effects in the 750x are based off the Mo' Bass, but the Mo' Bass also gives me more power and the incredible analog BassSynth and analog Chorus that blow away my pedals and Lexicon rack unit! Plus I get post FX Mo' EQ and a Dual Mode that allows me to set parallel dry and FX channels - like having two amps ala Larry Graham!

I have a pre FMC chrome face 350 that's a real workhorse for me. I usually tend to employ the Hiwatts because I'm a tube *One Who Practices the World's Oldest Profession*, but when I don't want to lug all that heavy gear around I'll bring the SWR to the gig and it does a wonderful job.
