Hello all,
I'm new to the forum but have played bass for many years. I play both finger style and use a pick. I am wondering what picks that you pick players prefer as it relates to string preferance.

I use the Carol Kaye picks which are really good. I'm using Elixers on a Ibanez SR505 5 string. One day I found some green felt with adhesive already on the back and cut a piece that fits the pick on front and back. Really nice sound and saves wear and tear on the Elixers.

Jim Dunlop Big Fatty 2.0mm or a general Dunlop 1.0mm (don't like the 1mm Big Fattys). I play medium DR Black Beauties on my Jazz, medium/light Fenders on my 5 string and medium/light d'Addario Chromes on my fretless. Generally, I'm a finger player though.
