Hi all. Im new to the forum, but have wanted to join for some time. My identification issue is that I have a 5 string Stuart Spector bass, its amberburst, has black tuners and bridge, 2 EMG HZ active pick ups, and is a bolt on neck. My problem is that i cannot tell the difference between the Legend 5 model, and the Q5 model. Some luthier has removed the frets as well, so as a result, no one who has seen it can identify it for sure. My question is this : Is there a definate way to tell the difference between the Q5 and the L5 by model number or any other way? Am I even sure that its one of these models.?? I need an authority here...please help!

Thanks

Garren
