if you can keep up with any of the old iron Maiden tunes on bass, you will be in great shape with your fingers. Those songs were simple but require stamina

i agree pulling teeth is a great song it is off the Kill 'em all album by metallica other good ones are holy wars by megadeth (im learning it right now Cool ) it has great down beats for finger or if you want to work on finger skipping learn the intro to

what about Jaco Pastorius, the best player ever to live. If you want to practice fingering this is the man to learn from. Cliff Burton was good but Jaco was the best.
