I would like to possibly get some bass lessons for my son. He is 13, just picked up the bass and shows some really great talent for it. He is switching from drums to bass. He plays by ear fantastically (Flea, Entwistle, etc) but I want him to learn fundamentals.
Any suggestions on how to search for a good bass teacher?

| Go to your local music store and ask the clerk(s) and check the bulletin board. Alternatively, check the yellow pages, but I think asking the people selling the instruments who is good in the area yield more useful information. |
