Just realised I posted this in the wrong forum originally, so re-posting it here as I should have...
Howdo gents,
I'm in need of some advice/help...
I play through a Laney Head, B Series, with two cabs (2x10 and a 1x15), total power rating is 1500W. I play the low output through the 1x15 and the highs through the 2x10.
It has a standby switch, so if something goes wrong, it kicks into standby which kills the power amp, just giving pre-amp signal.
Its gone on me during both of my last two gigs and then again at a rehearsal this week, but I've no idea why.
Any suggestions/idea/thoughts/advice as I need to get to the bottom of this ASAP.
Thanks

I've found the problem, one of the modules has blown and my head has gone to Head Heaven...
So, next question.
I've now got 2 Laney Cabs, a 210 and a 115... Do I buy just another head, and keep the Laney Cabs, possibly running say a Hartke Head through Laney Cabs...
Or do I jusy buy a new rig?

Personally I would keep the cabs, but then I am biased cos I play Laney myself. Alternatively, if you are the UK how much would you want for the 1x15? cos I'm thinking about getting a new head and selling my R3 combo! _________________ Visit http://www.planetrock.co.uk/default.asp You KNOW you want to! |
