I have a 1975 Fender Musicmaster bass I bought for a great deal...however, the pickup on it makes the E sound muddy. Anyone have a suggestion for a good pickup replacement? I heard Seymour-Duncan Cool Rails or Hot Rails is a good choice...any input? Also, would I need it for a strat or tele? I understand Fender used one of those guitar pickups on the bass when it was made? Confused
