| Has anyone tried one of these yet. It was one of the first guitars of the week this year. |

| They look great...how do they compare to the standard SG Reissue? |

I bought one a few months ago from a dealer in Canonsburg, PA. It's amazing. The last Gibson I owned was in 1969, probably before you were born. The neck is fast, the action was set low per my asking when the store set it up for me. It's sound is amazing. Craftsmanship is flawless and the flamed maple is out of this world. Controls are simple, the way I like them, volumn and tone. No fuss, no muss! I paid $1,250 for it. $250 more than the SG Reissue in Musicians Friend.
The case is lined in White. The salesman who is extremely knowledgeable about guitars said Gibson has had some issues with light colored guitars and black or red lined cases bleeding into the guitar finish. Obviously a Gibson problem & case manufacturer. If you have the cash and you're looking for a Gibson...buy it!
