I have been trying to find something, when I was young I used to own a
Hondo II copy of a Rickenbacker 4001, in fireglo no less, until it was stolen
I have been searching the net to see if I could locate a decent Ric copy like my old Hondo II, I thought I found one on ebay last week but the listing for it is gone now,I was supicious when the seller warned on the post that it may not stay up long. I guess I am trying to relive some of my youth, if you must ask why not just buy the real thing? well that's not
really the point, I am just trying to find that rare copy.

I have an Electra version in FG that I'm going to sell because I'm trying to find an EB-O or EB-3 that I had in my youth. Hard to get any of these because Ric shuts down all the auctions - not that I blame them.

I know the feeling of losing something that is hard to replace.

I will keep my eyes peeled for you.

Why does Ric shut down the auctions? How can they do that?
