Love the Rick sound as ably demonstrated by Chris Squire, but my Yamaha gives me all the tone I need at the moment. _________________ Visit http://www.planetrock.co.uk/default.asp You KNOW you want to! |

my epiphone EB-0 is lovely, but i really dont have that much experience of better basses, because i was on a little bit of a budget =). it sounded a bit crap through the rubbish amp at jazz band about an hour ago though. _________________ ~ruler of northern europe and forum authority on all things space aged and cat related~ |

Alembics sound heavenly :)
But in a more affordable range, Fender jazz basses are king. |

CQ a compressor pedal might help your sound out of that "rubbish " amp.
the EB0 is actually a decent bass. _________________ "I'm not a man who likes to swear, but I never cared for the sound of being alone." |
