hmmm... google "how gibson humbuckers gave basses balls"... or "Gibson basses revolutionize lead bass style with aggressive tone" Twisted Evil wow, thats and old post... I know Les Paul designed the first electric bass, Fender produced the first and Gibson made the electric bass badass. Slap bass was invented because someone couldnt play traditional bass and beat on his poor defenseless bass like a drum. Stand-up bass rocks and mike dirnt sucks. thats about all thatll go here without writing a novel! wikipedia "electric bass", theres a pretty good article there Very Happy
