|
I have a chance to buy a Gibson G3 bass, "black to black"
What would be a fair price for this masterpiece?
The seller does´t know the manufacture year, is their any way to find it out? (place to check the serial number...).
Does anyone out there have experience with the G3?
The bass is fretless... (do they make it like that or is it possible to take it off?) |

You can normally get one on ebay for between $500 (trashed) to $1000 (mint), with most going for $750 - colours go for more than th natural ones.
Never seen a fretless one, but Gibson did a lot of custom orders, and its quite likely fretless ones exist
have a look at these G3 pages http://www.gibsonbass.com/grabberG3.php - there are G3 soundclips and parts info etc _________________ http://www.gibsonbass.com |
