Hi Folks,
I am planning on buying a combo amp, preferably a cheap one. I am really looking at Behringer - possibly the BXL3000 (300W) or BXL1800 (180W). I know., I know - Behringer has some REALLY mixed/bad opinions out there, but I can get it from a place that has a free extended warranty (2 yrs total) and I am willing to risk it. I have played through the 45w version of this amp and REALLY liked the sound-power-price ratio.

Anyway, my question, how can I run more than one of these babies at once? I read one comment from a user that mentioned that he ran two of the 3000's by slaving one off the other . . . and I don't really know what he meant. Could it be running pre-amp out of one into the other to use both?

I ask because I could envision myself buying two (yes, two) and using one for most gigs but having the option of adding the second for large venues. I mostly run direct into the PA for about 75% of my volume and will use the amp for the rest + stage monitor, but I want more options.

Other suggestions in the price range are also welcome - I have about $300-$450 to spend. Keep in mind that I am, by nature, a bit of a lightweight (read: wimp), so I am looking for something I can carry and setup myself.

Many thanks, and sorry for the long post.
Cuch
