Thunderbird straps

Does anybody have a clue where i can get a decent Leather strap for my T-Bird? every one i ave seen or tried is too short! - I dont like playing the thing round my nipples - around about 60'' would be nice - or longer.

I use an old police utility belt, bout 4" wide and its made of HEAVY duty leather. took some modification, but its the best strap ive had and itll last me a lifetime... but if youre not into modifying law enforcement equipment, do a search on ebay or google for leather or heavy leather guitar strap... theres pleunty of manufacturers out there. Levy`s, Collings and Medina make some decent straps, but theyre usually proud of their stuff. (pricey) for length, youll have to check with the manufacturers, im sure they have something to suit you. even if it has to be special order. Check out elderly instruments, they have a decent selection and im sure could let you in on the secret long leather strap location... Smile
