I am really confused about minor triads, why are there two for each position of the minor scale ( I, II, III, IV etc.)??
and why is the second one for each augmented/diminished?

Two minor triads for each scale? I don't understand what you're asking.

Are you asking the position of a minor triad (a major third on top of a minor third?)

Or how many minor triads there are in a minor scale?
natural
( i-ii(diminished)- III-iv-v-VI-VII)

Harmonic
( i - ii(dim) - III - iv - V- VI - VII)

Melodic

(i - ii - III - IV - V- VI - VII) (only going up, reverts to natural scale going back down)

The second chord is diminished because in the relative major scale, it is the seventh. (i.e. in C maj, B/F/D is a dimished chord, that is also the ii (dim) chord for A min. The seventh (Maj) and second (min) are always dimished because of the way the scale steps are laid out (harmonic series)
i.e. W-W-H-W-W-W-H (major)
or W-H-W-W-H-W-W (minor)
W=whole step
H=half step

Hope this answered some of your questions.

i'm not sure what you're asking either confused queen! your confusion is contagious!

each diatonic minor scale has three minor triads. every key (minor and major) has three major triads, three minor and a diminished.

on top of the three scales styles81 pointed out, there are three modal minors. aeolian (natural minor), plus dorian (natural w/ a raised 6th), and phrygian (natural with a flat 2nd). the 2nd step of aeolian is a diminished triad; the 2nd step of dorian is a minor triad; and the 2nd step of phrygian is a major triad -- this is just how the 3rds stack up which is what determines the quality (maj, min, dim, aug) of a triad. i don't know of an augmented 2nd step triad in any minor scale, but they are present in the 3rd step triad of harmonic minor and ascending melodic minor.

i certainly hope i haven't been a minor annoyance in this matter!

I think you are getting confused over inversions.
Inversions are when you play the same notes of a chord, but start on the third note or the fifth note instead of the first.

For instance: if Em is E G B (1, 3b, 5), then EmI is G B E (3b, 5, 1), and EmII is B E G (5, 1, 3b)

Is that what your asking?

I understand now. it was because theres two versions of the minor scale, harmonic and melodic, so the triads are different for each.

Three, actually. Natural (same as relative minor), Harmonic (raised 7th to achieve a more "major" sound), Melodic (raised 6th and 7th for a full Major sound, however descending is done in a natural minor).
