Hello, I am thinking about possibly getting this amp as a practise amp. Is anybody using it with a 5-stringed bass and can it handle "the low B" ? Is perhaps a Kickback 12 sufficient?

yeah this amp is great. i used it in my jazzband at school, and yes it can handle the low b. It cut throught a 25 peice big band playing everything from beebop to slow rock. its a good investment. it also has the direct out so you can take it to a show and plug directly into the pa. its a great amp.. hartke makes great *Poop*

Wow, it sounds like it is pretty powerful. Thank you, I will try one out when I get the chance.
