It seems like a nice rig but I've heard some nasty thigns 'bout 'em and I know someone who had one and it kept breaking on him.

Workingman is SWR's 'affordable' line. Not bad, but not quite as nice as their Pro series gear.

I used one for about 5 years. The original version (the new ones have more power). It worked on the HORDE tour when I played on that. The built-in DI was fine to go to the house system.

Nowadays though, I think you can do better for the price. A Fender Bassman 400 kills it, and isn't that much more if you shop around.

i use an older workingman's 10 and it kicks. i use it mainly for a practice amp and jamming with friends. its far easier to two hand it with it and a bass than with my Hartke stack. ive also used my SWR for smaller gigs. although its not enough for a large gig, the DI would make larger gigging possible. there may be other combos that put out more sound than the SWR rigs, but there arent any that put out better sound, in my opinion. if i wasnt so poor, i would have a SWR stack instead of my Hartke stack...sigh, perhaps someday i will...
