World's rarest workable wood (35,000 yr old swamp kauri --not modern agathis or kauri from Fiji). Hand made pickups---beeeeee-u-tiful. I think only 12 basses in the world, and now maybe no more to be made as the wood is about gone. The luthier, Joh Lang, makes regular gats also from this. Gorgeous website if you're interested. Langcaster. Love'm. All the way from down in New Zealand. Not to be confused with the cheap-o Lancaster.
