Hey Guys, the names Wade and i am new to bass guitar so new in fatc that i havent even started and am starting after christmas which is when i'm getting my Bass i was wondering does anyone have any hints and tips that could help me along the way

Welcome aboard dude, nice to see another Aussie here, Neil Gray is our most well known poster...and even he has been quiet lately!

Hints? Practice.....lots, have fun, enjoy it, learn the basics and get yourself playing with others as quick as you can, you learn more playing with others than you ever will playing along to a tape or cd or ipod!
