I just purchased a brand new BA210 with the effects option. I did not need the effects but this was the only one they had at the time and the price was good. When I got it home I noticed that there is a constant hiss. When I tried the effects section I found that it was defective. I called the dealer and indicated the problem. They said they would get another one but they also indicated that the hiss is frequent problem with this model. Has anyone encountered this problem or is this not normal for this model amp.
In a rock situation this would not be a problem. My usage is in a worship situation where the amp sits quite for extended periods. The hiss does get annoying.
Thanks for the help. |

My guitarist uses a Marshall with 2 channels switched with a foot switch. When he loads up one channel with the on board effects, and switches it in, there is a pronounced hiss which can be heard if he is not playing. I don't know your rig at all, but maybe its a similar thing? If it is faulty maybe thats why you can't switch i out? Just a thought. _________________ Visit http://www.planetrock.co.uk/default.asp You KNOW you want to! |
