| right now im gigging with a 60 watt behringer and im wonderin if i can buy another 60W behringer and chain em together and push off both amps...i see how some guitarists will use, for example, 2 marshall stacks on stage...can i run off of both amps, or do i just need to buy a higher wattage amp for more money? |

OR you could get an ABY box if you are really hardset on using two amps.. it gives you the advantage of using effects on one amp and clean on the other, and using both of them at the same time to project more sound.. typically A channel is for one amp, B channel is for the second amp, and Y is for using both amps at the same time. Its a useful tool. I own one made by MORLEY. _________________ Warwick Corvette Standard 6string

i might be crazy...well, im sure i am but thats not the point...if it were me, i would buy a new larger amp AND the box to run them both, but thats just how i roll. _________________ "Excuse me Sir, but do you know how to get to Carnegie Hall?"

I do it all the time. Smaller amps are easier to carry and in a small gig I may only need one amp and can chain my three together if ever needed.
The amp should have a "line out" so just use an instrument cable and go from there to the input of the next amp. You can also use the "effects out" if your amp has an effects loop. |

| alrighty...well...things are lookin up for my band, and since i started this thread i've upgraded to an Ampeg ba115...now another problem...i have a 15" cab i wanna chain to it, but it has only an XLR lineout...would runnin an XLR to 1/4 inch cable from this to the cab work, or should i do as i originally planned, and run from the amp to an old PA head i have, then to the cab? |

XLR to 1/4 inch should, work we do that with our PA with no problems, just make sure the impedence doesn't get too low when you chain em up, you dont wanna blow that nice new ba115 do ya! _________________ Visit http://www.planetrock.co.uk/default.asp You KNOW you want to! |

| Line out has no amplification so it will not power a cabinet, you would need an external speaker out to do that. |
