i'm in a southern rock/alternative band, and i gig just about every weekend...right now my only bass is a 2002 Squier affinity precision modified by myself. i love the sound and feel of this bass, but i need a new one, and a higher quality instrument if i wanna continue gigging so constantly. at first i was considering the vintage modified jazz, but after playin it several times, and tryin different styles of playin, i think i like the P bass sound more, and it better suits my style of playin...plus the VM precision is 30 bucks cheaper. anybody got a hands-on opinion of a VM precision?? i wanna know some other opinions than the musiciansfriend write up lol...thanx

stephen
