i want to put another split pickup in my p bass (like the 83 elite II) any of you guys had experience with this configuration?

I haven't personally played any basses with 2 p-pickups installed, but I've seen may with that config (and even 3 of them). Though P/J and J/J splits are more common, 2 Ps aren't all that unusual.
