I like using Hartke heads. Excellent bass amplification. I recently purchased a HA7000 bass head and had it in for repairs. I am running an 8ohm 4 X 10" cabinet and a 8 ohm 1 X 18" cabinet. Both cabinets were plugged into the low output jacks. It cuts out at high power and then cuts back in. I have tried lowering the guitar input lowering the gain. The only solution thus far is I am using the adjustable crossover built into the amp. The 4 X 10 is running off the high output and the 1 X 18 " is running off the low output. The crossover lever is set at arounf 250mhz with the balance set at around 0ne-two oclock for the high side. This set up has eliminated the cutting ot and it is devastatingly loud and clear with tons of punch and quick response.
Is this normal for the HA7000 to cut out?? I just got it out of the shop for this very problem.
Advice, or questins please!!

I have the same head although i dont run two cabs all the time i do run two sometimes. I have the 4.5xl and the transporter cab and i run them into series instead of both out of the head. Try it it may help. i run hte amp in mono mode you can find that button on the back then out of one of the low outputs and into one cab, then out of the other input/output jack in the same cab run it to the other. so from the head to a cab and from the same cab to the other cab. it wil split the ohms and maybe work for you.

good luck..

Mike
