has anyone else had a set of strings fail (break) while you are putting them on your ax? it just happened to me tonight and i must say, i don't think i have ever been so pissed off. i mean come on, i spent $71.25 and waited like two weeks for those damm strings, i expect more. _________________ "Excuse me Sir, but do you know how to get to Carnegie Hall?"

not sure, i was stringing it up like i have a dozen times before and it failed right up at the top around the peg. im guessing it was just a bad string. either way, it pretty much sucks. _________________ "Excuse me Sir, but do you know how to get to Carnegie Hall?"

| I cut a string once but that was cuz I was getting its bridge higher and forgot to detune it. What brand were the strings u used? |
