I hate the "newbie" status..........

Hello, all! Decided to look for a new forum with nothing but bassists in the community(for the most part at least). Came across this forum and thought I would register and see what kinda' people are on here, and maybe learn a thing or two. I'm from the Lone Star State here in the south, I consider myself to be a bassist............but I know I have along way to go. I never plan on being a great bassist anyway which helps me from becoming to egostatistical. As long as I am playing I'm having fun, and I think that is all it should be about. I will admit I am a bit of a "gear junkie" and I think I am finally getting to the point to where I found what I am most happy with working with as far as my gear goes. Anyway's just a little bit of info on myself,.....don't want to ramble too much so I'll just end with saying "Hello" again.

If you really can't hang with the "newbie" status I recommend spending some time in the "I win" thread. You'll look like an old pro in no time. Look what it did for confused queen...
