do you want replacement lipsticks or something completely different? I'm not sure who sells lipsticks, Danelectro put's 'em stock in their basses. If you want something brand new then there's a ton of stuff. You'll want a Jazz style pup, and you might have to do some routing on that guitar of yours to fit 'em.

I would like a pick up that will fit the guitar. I don't want to do any cutting. Do you think that the Danelectro's are the only pickup that will fit?

I am trying to replace some crappy Lipstick pickups on my 1960's copy of a 1950's Tele Bass. The dimensions are 2 3/4 (length) x 3/4(width) x 1/2 (deep). Any thoughts as to where I might get some better sounding pickups?

Thanks
Jasmine

Contact Jason Lollar at http://www.lollarguitars.com

He can take those pickups and wind just about anything you want for a very reasonable price. Then you can say you have "custom wound" pickups. How cool is that?
