I am a big fan of brass nuts--always have been. Don't know why brass would not be just as good and sustaining on a 6-er. Anyone with experience in this area of 6-ers? In the end, brass is brass (if you go with it) and eBay has tons of them. You just want the grooves super smooth, not floppy. I have, in the past, touched'em up with jewelers cloth. Just my idea.
