Hi all, I'm a saxophone player (14 yrs exp.) who's starting out on bass guitar for fun right now, maybe more seriously later. Anyhow, I have been searchinng the web for material to play on bass. All I could find was tablature stuff.
I can read music, I know scales, chords... the whole music theory thing. I been working on blues patterns with various turnarounds in the past weeks. I'm doing pretty ok I guess for someone new on bass. Am just wondering if someone recomend a site on the web that has staff music for bass and that would be ok for a player like me.
Many thanks |

Ive looked.... not to many free notation sites... in fact I havent found one yet.
Books are pricey... I could send you some Back pieces, but they are pretty complex. I dont know what else to tell you there

That's what I was affraid to hear. I find it mind blowing that there is so little notation music on the web, and yet so many free tablature stuff.
Thanks for your reply anyway. |
