Ok I have no idea what to do so I need your help.
First of all. The input on my bass is acting weird. It keeps coming loose, but today it started having a spring effect when I tried tightening it. Like I try to tighten it but it keeps spinning. The bolt and thread are spinning.. I need help! Do I have to replace my input?
Also. I’m planning on buying a Fender Squire from my friend and he says it needs a new input. How can I replace it? and where do I buy a new one? He lives in Colorado and I live in Pittsburg.. so it’s kind of difficult to get tons of info..
help please!
Thanks _________________ Tom |

The reason I guess it feels springy is that as you try to tighten, the wires insied are twisting up. Take the back plate off so you can hold the input steady from inside as you try and tighten, if you don't, the wires will eventually break and you will have no sound at all! Inputs jacks shouldn't need changing really as you can adjust the springs that make the connections quite easily. Hope this helps _________________ Visit http://www.planetrock.co.uk/default.asp You KNOW you want to! |
