can you mix heads and cabinets like if i were to buy a Gallen Krueger head and a Behringer head could you do that and everything be fine???

Mixing different brands is ok, just ensure the speakers can cope with the output from the amp, and that the impedences match. i.e. amp=4 ohm, cab = 4ohm, amp= say 200w, cab= 250w.
