Hey! I recently lost my guitar player. I've been covering parts on bass as well as the keyboard player to keep the band going. I was never one for using any bass effects so I know anything about them. I had an idea and was wondering if there was anything out there that could do this. I'm looking for something that could take the note I am playing on bass and have it play the octave but have it sound like a guitar chord, or just a guitar sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

The trouble with Octavers is that they start to warble / get lost when trying to track down to the open E ( or Low B on a fiver ) unless you only use the octave up ( if a pedal has both options )

If i were to spend my money on an Octaver, i would get the best. Its pointless wasting money on anything else.

That will be the Electro Harmonix POG. And if you want even more, the Electro Harmonix HOG.

These 2 floor boxes are the mutts nuts. You can do 12 string guitar stuff, Organ, 5ths, 4ths, combinations of Octave up and a 5th, blah blah blah. Its all you'll ever need.

Pricey but worth their weight in women
