Ampeg SVT-III: difference to PRO-Version

well, hello,
this is my first post here, i really hope you guys can help me.
i own an ampeg SVT-3 (not the pro-version) for two years now (got it on ebay), but since i bought a sunn 300t a few weeks ago i‘d like to sell the ampeg to a friend… but i‘m not sure about a realistic price.

(1) so i checked out the prices for the PRO-version which are around $1000, but that shouldn‘t be comparable to my „un-pro“-version, right? moreover, what‘s the big difference between these two ampegs (except for the much better look of the pro version)?
on the ampeg site there‘s no info at all on the SVT-3… Confused

(2) my svt-3 is in excellent condition, what‘s a realistic price for it nowadays (on ebay for example)? (then i‘d subtract some $50 as a friendship bonus and sell it to my friend).
