| My brother has worked for Kaman for close to 20 years and he just told me they made guitars, i think he said its the Ovation... Anyone have one? cant find any reviews on them... (plus he said he can get me a major discount!) |

I have never heard of it! In fact, now that you bring it up, I haven't seen a new Ovation around for donkeys years!
But what I do remember of Ovation is that they were wierd looking... but brilliant!!! A mate of mine used to have one, and you could just tell it was a cut above.
Let us know what you go with... I'd be keen to learn more.

I have two Ovation guitars, a nylon string classical and a steel string, I have seen a few basses around but I am not really interested in going the acoustic bass route so I can't say if they play well or not, but Ovation makes fine instruments. _________________ "I'm not a man who likes to swear, but I never cared for the sound of being alone." |

| From what I found they have a budget like that would be like a fender P or J 4 string bass called the Slammer. Says Hamer Slammer, but got links off the Kaman site... very cool stuff. Bro said an employee where he worked bought an electric bass and it rocks. |
