Just bought my first bass and its a copy of a fender jazz. I live in Japan and it cost the equivalent of about $100 new.

Can't find any info on the web, and there is not indication on the guitar as to where it is made or anything. Just wondering.

By the way, how long does such a bottom of the range bass usually last for before you have too many problems?
