I have been playing bass for awhile and I am pretty good, but I never took lessons I taught myself.
I was wodnering if anyone knew of a good book to teach you notes and such like that. I can play any tab that you put in front of me and I just think it's time I move on and learn more about bass. So if you know and good bass books that teach you notes and show you understandingly it would help to let me know
Thanks

Hey Takeme, for my recommendation, look at the thread http://bassdogs.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000078.html
Also, the bible of bass is the Simandl String Bass Method. This is the serious stuff the orchestral players have to go through. If you can play that stuff, you should be able to play just about anything.
Good luck.
