As we are trying to buy a house, Im needing to make some cash for a down payment. So, up for sale is my 1968 Gibson EB-0, all original, original hardshell case with cool red fuzzy interior. This is one sweet bass, plays beautiful & RUMBLES like only a vintage Gibson can. It also matches your guitarists vintage SG! asking 500.00 & whoever buys it better take care of it or BAD Juju will befall you. Twisted Evil

Hmm...
Do you think my plan here would be worth it?
Sell my Thumb 4, get maybe $650ish?
Buy your EB-0 for $500... Buy a Corvette 4-string fretless for $450...
I'd probably lose like $350/$400, and then I could sell my head for like $400/$450 if I'm lucky, I'll have $250ish left over from before, and I'll pick up a SVT-4 for $650 to leave me with no more money. But I think I'm okay with my head for now. Decisions, decisions. But it's too risky, I've never even played a Gibby before. BUT I WANT ONE, DAMNIT.
