Maybe I am doing something wrong, but it seems with this bass, that now matter how I EQ it, i can't get any kind of high-end power out of it, I know it is a bass guitar, but something just doesn't sound right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have a squire pbass as well and mine has a huge bottom end too. what you might try is first making sure that you tone nob is turned all the way up so that the tone is sharp, that could be your problem. another thing you might look into, if the tone nob isnt it, you could get a screwdriver and adujust the pickup on the d and g strings so it is closer to the strings and also adjust the pickup on the e and a strings so that it is farther from the strings. i did this to mine and everything worked out just fine for me. i hope i helped you in some way. let me know how it turned out. _________________ "Excuse me Sir, but do you know how to get to Carnegie Hall?"
