| My MIM Precision Bass has active pickup setup but I was wondering if that can be disabled to simply getting the tone I want? Anybody know? |

I know that works, but I understand the active electronics part can contribute extra noise and interfere with effects you might try to use. Thanks for answering. | i've never removed my batteries...my warwick does not buzz at all..(even with effects) (including distortion)...i don't know enough about basses (or electronics for that matter) to tell you what to do....you could buy another guitar or new pickups...other than that i don't know. |
